Currently looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist  to fill an opening with a company located in Philadelphia, PA. Interested candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business  and have 2-5 years experience in digital marketing using email marketing, paid search advertising and social media activities.
Responsibilities of the Digital Marketing Strategist:
  • Utilizing Digital Marketing functions, such as PPC, email marketing, and social media.
  • Analyze, monitor and report on SEO performance including crawl issues, backlink profile, keyword rankings, redirects and opportunities for competitive improvement
  • Do keyword research to optimize existing content/metadata and uncover new opportunities or emerging trends
  • Give recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Implement and manage search engine programs such as XML sitemaps, redirects, and robots.txt
  • Evaluate and monitor web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
  • Demonstrate understanding of how duplicate content and page load speed affect SEO and advise on best practices
  • Keep pace with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends and developments

Requirements of the Digital Marketing Strategist:
  • BS degree in Marketing or Business required
  • 2-5 years experience in digital marketing using email marketing, paid search advertising and social media activities
  • Experienced in digital marketing metrics, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager
  • Up-to-date knowledge of organic search trends, including search engine algorithm changes, the latest tools and technologies for SEO
  • Proven success of digital marketing best practices, social media marketing, Etc.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and analytics tool
