Currently looking for a Director Of Marketing to fill an opening  and this position can sit in multiple locations (Missouri – Farmington or Piedmont; PA – Trevose or WI – Oshkosh). Interested candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing and communications or relevant field and have a minimum of 10+ years marketing experience and  a minimum of 7 years marketing management experience.
Position description:
Provides vision, strategic direction and leadership for company’s marketing, advertising and communication strategies including: those who coordinate production, distribution, advertising, public relations, direct mail, practice education, trade shows, web development, sales enablement, social media, digital advertising, internal communications, Net Promoter Score (NPS) administration, marketing automation, product positioning, brand strategy, and all other marketing communications.  Establishes marketing goals and strategic direction necessary to reach corporate sales and profitability objectives while effectively creating a clear differentiated message of value to the market.  Evaluates effectiveness of marketing programs and continually advances tool/technologies used to ensure new fresh and innovative marketing creating differentiation for the company from the competition.  Reviews market research to determine opportunities that exist and ways to capitalize on them as an organization.
  % of Time Responsibilities of the Director Of Marketing:
1.  45% Directs and oversees all marketing functions; defining marketing strategies/plans, budgets, and assures plans are consistent with company’s goals and objectives. Directs company’s advertising activities with goal of establishing an innovative and edgy marketing presence in the market that clearly articulates our New Value Proposition and Mission to potential customers, employees and the public while differentiating the company from its competition. Manages marketing campaigns and associated expenses to take advantage of creative marketing opportunities for greater company success in client acquisition, customer loyalty, customer referrals and service penetration across the product portfolio. Create and successfully continue to build a persona of the company to provide a virtual personality of the company. Create and deliver credible industry insights in line with the Challenger Messaging and Challenger sales approach through marketing plans for all product offerings.
Constantly innovates approach, tools and processes - automating processes being utilized- eliminating as many manual processes and manual data entry/manual data pulls for optimized team usage. Ensure Team structure supports the business needs and makes the most effective use of resources taking into account skill set, behavioral strengths, utilization, experience, making necessary changes as the market needs or company needs change.
2. 20% Directs definition of marketing strategic & tactical plans for each product area in conjunction with all company Product Management and Sales Leadership teams
·   Assures that tactical plans reflect strategic objectives.
·   Directs all aspects of plan execution to ensure that tasks are completed to an exacting standard and on time.
·   Ensures that lead targets are created and executed to plan, intelligence on consumer engagement is effectively obtained and measured through the full lead - purchase journey.
·   Automate through the use of technology all important touch points in the customer journey to ensure standard, consistent professional (personal) touchpoints occur (drip campaigns, thank you for demo, commercial insight back-up communications, thank you for order, alerts for achieving various levels of success, customer anniversaries, etc.).
·   Capture individual sales person and company personality and convey through video media.
Maintains and communicates confidential marketing plans (positioning, tactics, pricing, etc.) to appropriate personnel.
  5% Directs marketing surveys and market research to remain current on industry developments. Directs and distributed customer loyalty surveys and other creative measures to assess customer satisfaction.
·         Reviews market research to determine opportunities that exist and ways to profit from them.
·         Review market trends to understand and be able to creatively position products to meet unique customer needs and to create opportunities where they did not previously exist.
4. 5% Works with Product Management team and sales leadership to strategically market and position the products and to create Challenger Messaging within all external marketing mediums, and for internal sales team use (pitch decks, digital packet technology, video media, and virtual catalogues) and other innovative technology driven marketing solutions utilized.
5. 5% Works with the Company Distribution and Company Corporate to coordinate marketing programs and execute cross- team marketing messaging, campaigns, sales tools to support the One Initiative, bundle programs, New Clinic Package Marketing and Sales tools. Ensure all Marketing mediums used by Distribution sales team is up-to-date to allow TMs to be an effective part of the HSVS lead generation/creation/sales success as well as be knowledgeable of communications going out to customers they support.
6. 5% Manages marketing team (i.e. hires, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.). Creates Succession plans and team development initiatives to ensure Marketing team is moving ahead of the technology-marketing curve related to tactics, tools, technologies and outcome expectations/realization.
7. 5% Manages Practice Education Program Events in collaboration with internal teams to maximizing attendance, customer loyalty, attendance and ROI for both company and attendee in coordination with the Training teams, Product Management and external Coordination partners for Vet Summit and Practice Builder Seminars.
8. 5% Maintains industry and consulting/agency relationship and programs
9. 5% Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
Requirements of the Director Of Marketing:
-Bachelor’s Degree
-At lease 7 years experience directing a marketing team
-Technology B2B Marketing experience
-Experience in tactical and strategic management for technology field business

Ideal Candidate:

  • CEB Challenger Message creation and methodology a plus
