Delivery Architect

As a Delivery Architect at our company you will be the technical architect of an agile development team dedicated to the development and delivery of solutions for company dealers. Specifically working within the product repair and diagnostic  toolset  including ServiceADVISOR(TM).
In this role you will:
  • Participate in the development of high quality products utilizing Agile and XP principles
  • Create architectural design documentation
  • Work with business stakeholders, development teams to reach agreement on the requirements
  • Apply information analysis to assist in the effective integration of data to create business solutions
  • Participate in creation of project plans and schedule to meet business requirements
  • Review code and technical designs of other team members
  • Investigate/root cause production defects
  • Participate in pair programming, code katas, tech leveling, and other development activities
  • Work within and help establish guidelines such as coding standards, workflow, and/or tool standards
  • Drive team technical standards and processes
  • Provide technical leadership and support to the on-boarding and integration of external Partners and Suppliers

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a passion to solve problems and work in a team environment
  • 7+ years of experience with web software development
  • 7+ years of experience Java development experience
  • Experience with applications development environment, database, data administration and infrastructure capabilities and constraints
  • Understanding of service oriented architecture
  • Experience working with Test Driven Development, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Test Automation
  • Experience with Agile development process
  • Proven experience designing large scale applications
  • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and communicating those solutions to one or more development teams
  • Ability to travel up to 25% both domestic and international
