General Description
Assist in the execution of marketing initiatives in support of our client company
  Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Assist the Brand Manager in creation of marketing plans to effectively deliver brand messaging across all communication channels.
  • Assist in design and creation of strategic brand advertising campaigns to effectively deliver brand messaging and drive awareness, preference and purchase intent of target consumers.
  • Coordinate with field sales force, including all National Account Managers (NAMs), to develop and execute annual promotional calendars by retail account. 
  • Assists in the identification and development of business building ideas and works with other business unit team members to execute the plans that meet investment criteria.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of all client digital properties, specifically the properties.
  • Ensure strong brand presence in online and offline channels.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Coordinator on all brand social media accounts to ensure timely and relevant content, including coordinating with Training Team and others, to ensure timely responses to direct messages from consumers
  • Serve as a liaison with applicable agency partners on various brand asset creation, including any video, digital and print creative assets.
  • Coordinate with the Product Marketing Manager to ensure consistency with the product line strategy
  • Assist in management of various licensing partnerships.
  • Coordinate with Marketing Coordinator to track spending as it relates to the annual advertising and promotion budget, as well as prepare and manage the monthly marketing spend forecast process in conjunction with the Finance team, including identification and tracking of GTN spend vs marketing spend.
  • Serve as a liaison with Catalog team to ensure most up-to-date and relevant marketing copy/information is utilized in all company catalog resources.
Requirements (Education/Experience/Certifications/Skills)
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related file, or equivalent in education and experience.  MBA preferred.
1-3 years brand or product marketing experience in related field.
Above average communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to deal with personnel both inside and outside the office.
Proven record of revenue growth via consumer and trade product introduction.
Proven record of comprehensive product line strategy development.
Build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of people
Ability to manage teams and develop individuals.
Analytical and Conceptual:  Excellent data and market analysis skills.
Bias for growth and organizational change management.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a multi-discipline, fast paced environment.
Dependability - Must be able to maintain satisfactory record of attendance and conduct.  Must be able to work any shift and overtime as required.
