JOB SUMMARY:  
Assists in ensuring the growth and development of product platforms through Marketing, Sales/Operations, Product Development, and Finance activities. 
 
Works closely with development, operations, and account management teams in developing realistic development plans and schedules; creating product requirements; evaluating and prioritizing request for product changes or enhancements; and determining objectives for any testing involving clinics, and vendor partners. Assists sales in demonstrating the products, sales presentations and closings.  Maintains close relationships to customers for awareness of customers’ needs and perspectives. Extensive involvement in assuring satisfaction of current customer base and installs. Works closely with sales, marketing communications, and customer/product support to resolve issues that will affect product’s success.  Directs creation of release materials and may assist in new product release.
  
KNOWLEDGE:  
A seasoned, experienced professional with an understanding of area of specialization; resolves a wide range of issues in creative ways. Excellent PC skills and general understanding of various software languages.  Expert on Practice Management software product line, with thorough knowledge of all products within a product family, company policies and practices a must.  General understanding of database architecture, with basic knowledge of all Non-Diagnostic Integrations and process. Knowledge of Practice Management client services, processes, equipment and veterinary terminology are desirable.
 
JOB COMPLEXITY: 
 Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.  
 
SUPERVISION: 
 Normally receives some instruction on day-to-day work, general instructions on new assignments.
 
EXPERIENCE: 
Requires a minimum of 2 years of product support, product planning or consulting environment or related work experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing or related work experience preferred 
 
 
OTHER:
Professional communication skills and ability to negotiate a must.
